Todas las personas nos hemos preocupado de vez en cuando. Pero cuando el miedo o la preocupaci\u00f3n se vuelven constantes, intensos o dif\u00edciles de controlar, pueden empezar a afectar la vida diaria. Muchas personas en la comunidad latina describen la ansiedad como si la mente tuviera pensamientos acelerados, presi\u00f3n en el pecho, dolor de est\u00f3mago o sentir que est\u00e1n \u201cen alerta\u201d, desesperadas todo el tiempo.   <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La ansiedad puede ser provocada por el trabajo, las responsabilidades familiares, preocupaciones migratorias, problemas econ\u00f3micos, estr\u00e9s laboral o ambientes inseguros. En algunas personas, la ansiedad tambi\u00e9n aparece despu\u00e9s de vivir un trauma. Como muchas familias est\u00e1n acostumbradas a seguir adelante, e ignorar estos s\u00edntomas, aunque haya estr\u00e9s, la ansiedad puede esconderse durante mucho tiempo antes de que la persona busque ayuda.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Se\u00f1ales comunes de ansiedad:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preocupaci\u00f3n constante.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Problemas para dormir.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Palpitaciones<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tensi\u00f3n muscular.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Problemas estomacales.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inquietud o dificultad para relajarse.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Miedo a que algo malo pase.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Evitar personas, lugares o situaciones.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La ansiedad tambi\u00e9n puede afectar las decisiones y las relaciones. Una persona puede volverse irritable, demasiado controladora o distante. A veces la familia piensa que est\u00e1 exagerando, que es flojera o se hace la dif\u00edcil, cuando en realidad est\u00e1 luchando con miedo.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Hay muchas formas sanas de manejar la ansiedad:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Respirar lenta y profundamente.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tomar descansos de las noticias o redes sociales.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hacer ejercicio o caminar regularmente.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Reducir la cafe\u00edna si empeora los s\u00edntomas<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Escribir las preocupaciones y separarlas en lo que s\u00ed puedes controlar y lo que no.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hablar con un terapeuta, consejero o doctor si los s\u00edntomas contin\u00faan.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ll\u00e1manos al (510) 188-1855<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La ansiedad no significa que haya algo malo en usted.
