Elizabeth Pabon-Alvarado

Elizabeth Pabon-Alvarado brings more than 30 years of experience in accounting, financial management, and organizational administration, including extensive experience supporting nonprofit organizations. As Director of Finance & Administration at The Latina Center, she oversees financial operations, budgeting, grant and contract compliance, payroll and benefits administration, internal controls, and financial reporting.

Elizabeth holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and accounting certificates from UC Berkeley. Throughout her career, she has served in senior financial leadership roles, including Controller, Accounting Manager, and Director of Finance & Administration. She is passionate about helping mission-driven organizations build strong financial systems, maintain accountability, and use their resources effectively to support the communities they serve.

In addition to her professional work, Elizabeth is deeply committed to public and community service. She currently serves as Mayor of the City of San Pablo, where she has been a longtime advocate for responsible governance, fiscal stewardship, and strengthening opportunities for residents and families.

Elizabeth is proud to support The Latina Center’s mission and its work to empower Latina women and strengthen families and communities throughout Contra Costa County.
